Specialists’ Perceptions Regarding General Practitioners with Enhanced Surgical Skills (GPESS) Study

We are pleased to announce an exciting new project at CRHR which investigates the perceptions of General Surgeons and Obstetricians and Gynaecologists regarding GPESS in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. This qualitative study aims to identify impediments and opportunities for building and sustaining communities of practice while exploring interprofessional relationships. Dr. Jude Kornelsen and Dr. Stuart Iglesias are serving as the co-principle investigators with collaboration from Rural Physicians Action Plan (RPAP), Saskatchewan Medical Association (SMA) the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada (SRPC) and the Rural Coordination Centre of British Columbia (RCCBC)
